#TravelTuesday Photo Spotlight: Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia

This week's #TravelTuesday spotlight is on: @TwoScotsAbroad!

Location: The Bolivian Salt Flats! Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia

"This photo was taken as the sun began to set on a day trip to Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia. This wonder is also known as The Salt Flats, and is a popular spot for backpackers visiting Bolivia. The vast horizon of The Salt Flats allows for silly photos to be taken, such as falling into a box of Pringles or being attacked by a giant dinosaur. Those snaps sure were a laugh but the best photos, in my opinion, were taken in the early evening. I adore the contrast of the blue sky and yellow sunset reflecting romantically on the salt. To get this shot, head to the town of Uyuni and book a day tour (other travelers opt for the three day tour but I don’t think you get the sunset shots with that). Our pushy counterparts pressed the guide to take these shots, I’m glad we did the trip with bossy tourists!" -Two Scots Abroad
