21 Photos That Perfectly Describe a Weekend in New Orleans... Without Mardi Gras!
I've learned the driving factors for my abundant travel include the search for color, sites, and community. I live to stimulate my eyes with opulent hues, let my heart beat parallel to rhythmic vibrations, and bask in the warmth of others.
New York City is a place so vast that even with over eight million people walking the streets, I sometimes still find myself feeling alone. A city filled with souls from around the world, yet a city that can still bring me days when I feel cold and dark. We are so jaded by the population count that we assume we'll have an infinite amount of opportunities to interact with each other "later".
Gladly, by traveling, I've broken my metropolis curse and find myself more aware of my surroundings, and in turn, yearn for more experiences.
As the holidays near, Alex and I are planning to return to New Orleans for New Years Eve and I am beyond stoked to get my color-fix. Here are 21 photos from last year's visit that'll make you want to book a hotel and meet me there. And yes, you can do that... you have my email.
See you for NYE, NOLA!
